The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
