Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - New Russia, NY.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehab in New Russia, Medicare will pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs for outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications administered by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for individuals who want supplemental health insurance in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
