American Indians and Alaska Natives are historically more likely than individuals of other racial and ethnic groups to require rehabilitation for drug and alcohol abuse and addiction. So therefore, there is an absolute need for a variety of service types to provide services for all of the very unique needs of this client demographic, including substance abuse treatment programs in native languages.
