Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs - St. Bonaventure, NY.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in St. Bonaventure, this program may cover certain recovery programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want additional coverage apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
