Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient drug and alcohol rehab program that is just below intensive out-patient and more intensive than regular out-patient rehab. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help people who may need intensive rehabilitation for a co-occurring mental health disorder, but don't need 24 hour supervision and care. When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment program, they typically take part in services in the range of three to five days per week.
