Military Insurance - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Muskogee, OK.

The military currently uses a military insurance called Tricare to help veterans, active military members and their families receive health benefits. There is Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, and Tricare Extra. Tricare Standard offers insurance benefits for retired military who are 60 or older and their eligible family members. With Tricare Standard they have access to any civilian health care provider that is payable under Tricare, but also pay yearly deductible and coinsurance, in addition to any out-of-pocket expenses. Tricare Extra is available to Tricare Standard beneficiaries which grants access to civilian health care professionals within their provider network, with a reduced coinsurance amount. Tricare Prime is available to all active-duty members, retirees, and all qualified family members, and with this they can pick a primary care physician and obtain referrals to organizations that provide specialty care.

Through TRICARE, military members can acquire drug and alcohol treatment services in Muskogee. This includes detoxification, individual and group therapy including family therapy, and other various substance abuse recovery services. They will need pre-authorization for services and there are likely to be some restrictions. Military insurance covers both outpatient and inpatient, but stays for detoxification are restricted to 7 days. An inpatient or partial hospitalization following detoxification will only be authorized if it is an approved facility, and there are time restrictions as to how long military members are allowed to remain in rehab.
