The military currently uses a military insurance called Tricare to help veterans, active military members and their families receive health benefits. There is Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, and Tricare Extra. Tricare Standard provides benefits for retired military who are 60 years of age or older and their qualified family members. With Tricare Standard they go to any civilian health care provider that is payable under Tricare, but also pay an annual deductible and coinsurance, in addition to any out-of-pocket expenses. Tricare Extra is an option available to Tricare Standard beneficiaries which allows access to civilian health care providers within their provider network, with a discounted coinsurance amount. Tricare Prime is offered to all active-duty members, retirees, and all qualified family members, and with this they can select a primary care physician and obtain referrals to health care services that provide specialty care.

By way of TRICARE, military members can receive substance abuse rehabilitation services in Red Rock. This encompasses individual and group therapy including family therapy, detoxification, and other rehabilitation services. They will need pre-authorization for treatment and there are likely to be some restrictions. Military insurance covers both inpatient and outpatient, but inpatient services for detoxification are limited to 7 days.
