Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centers - Bend, OR.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people who do have Medicare and require substance abuse rehabilitation in Bend, Medicare will pay for certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehab. Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for individuals who want supplemental health insurance in addition to what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
