Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
