Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in North Powder, Medicare may pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
