For someone who has completed inpatient rehab, a partial hospitalization day treatment program in Delaware Water Gap could help them transition more easily into a drug-free way of life as a viable "step-down" option. After partial hospitalization day treatment, the individual could then phase into regular outpatient care.

It is like an in-patient treatment program in many important ways, including the fact that people will have access tonurses, physicians, and mental health professionals who can deal with the physical, emotional and psychological issues they are trying to conquer. For at least 4-6 hours on the days that people attend partial hospitalization day treatment, the clients will receive individual addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, receive any necessary medical care and deal with any of the mental health issues that trigger their drug addiction.
