Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient substance abuse rehabilitation program which is just below intensive outpatient and more intensive than regular outpatient rehabilitation. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help clients who require intense treatment for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but don't need 24 hour intervention and treatment. For someone who has finished inpatient rehabilitation, a partial hospitalization day treatment plan in Summit Station could help them make the transition more easily into a sober way of life as a "step-down" option. Following partial hospitalization day treatment, the client could then phase over to regular out-patient care.
When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment program, they typically take part in services anywhere from three to five days per week. It is very much like an in-patient treatment program in many significant ways, including the fact that clients will get access tonurses, physicians, and mental health professionals who can deal with the psychological, emotional, and physical issues they are trying to overcome. For at least 4-6 hours on the days that clients attend partial hospitalization day treatment, they will get personalized addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, receive any required medical care and deal with any of the mental health symptoms that are triggering their alcohol and drug addiction.
