Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Programs - Sheldon, SC.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol treatment in Sheldon, Medicare may pay for certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
