Military Insurance - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Facilities - Provo, UT.

The military currently uses a military insurance called Tricare to help veterans, active military members and their families obtain health benefits. There is Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, and Tricare Extra. Tricare Standard offers insurance benefits for retirees of the military who are 60 or older and their eligible family members. With Tricare Standard they go to any non-military health care provider that is payable under Tricare, but also pay yearly deductible and coinsurance, as well as any out-of-pocket expenses. Tricare Extra is available to Tricare Standard beneficiaries which provides access to civilian health care providers within their provider network, with a discounted coinsurance amount. Tricare Prime is available to all active-duty members, retirees, and all qualified family members, and with this they can select a primary care physician and get referrals to health care services that offer specialty care.

Through TRICARE, military members can obtain drug and alcohol treatment services in Provo. This encompasses detoxification, individual and group therapy including family therapy, and other various rehab services. They will need pre-authorization for treatment and there will most likely be some limitations. Military insurance covers both inpatient and outpatient, but stays for detoxification are limited to no more than 7 days.
