DWI Clients - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facilities - Washington, UT.

DWI clients in rehab need to complete specific requirements to satisfy the terms of their court sentencing. Rehab facilities which help fulfill these demands and terms, which are usually much more lenient than regular sentencing such as large fines and jail time, are offered in Washington to provide DWI classes, therapy, and further evaluation for serious substance abuse problems.

Drug and Alcohol Education is a fundamental treatment tool used at rehabs catering to DWI clients. There are different levels of alcohol education classes which can vary by state. Level I education normally include 12 hours of education related to the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what someone with a first conviction or someone under 21 will often be required to complete. Level II classes would consist of both education and therapy in a court approved program. The duration the client will be required to participate in therapy depends upon various factors, which can be, for example, the number of DWI's the offender has had, and the severity of the violation. Ordinarily, clients will be required to take the Level II classes and therapy unless their blood-alcohol level was very low when they were stopped and there weren't any other significant infractions when the offender was arrested.
