Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Achilles, VA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse recovery services in Achilles, Medicare may cover various rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want supplemental health insurance aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
