Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which is less than intensive out-patient and more intensive than regular outpatient rehab. When a person is in a partial hospitalization day treatment center, they commonly participate in services anywhere from 3-5 days per week. It is similar to an in-patient treatment program in many significant ways, including the fact that individuals will get access tomental health professionals, physicians and nurses who can deal with the physical, emotional and psychological issues they are trying to overcome.
