Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Dulles, VA.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse rehabilitation in Dulles, Medicare can cover certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs for outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for people who want supplemental coverage in addition to what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
