Military Insurance - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Falls Church, VA.

The military currently uses a military insurance called Tricare to help veterans, active military members and their families receive health benefits. There is Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, and Tricare Extra. Tricare Standard provides insurance benefits for retired military who are 60 or older and their qualified family members. With Tricare Standard they receive services from any non-military health care provider that is payable under Tricare, but also pay an annual deductible and coinsurance, along with any out-of-pocket expenses. Tricare Extra is available to Tricare Standard beneficiaries which provides access to civilian health care professionals within their provider network, with a discounted coinsurance amount. Tricare Prime is offered to all active-duty members, retirees, and all qualified family members, and with this they can select a primary care physician and get referrals to health care services that offer specialty care.

Through TRICARE, military members can receive drug and alcohol rehabilitation services in Falls Church. This includes individual and group therapy including family therapy, detoxification, and other various substance abuse recovery services. They will require pre-authorization for services and there are likely to be some restrictions. Military insurance covers both inpatient and outpatient, but inpatient services for detox are limited to 7 days.
