Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers - Syria, VA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol recovery services in Syria, Medicare can cover certain treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the expenses associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehab. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want supplemental coverage in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
