It too is taken daily, and is priced approximately $450 per month. Naltrexone is an additional drug taken in opioid maintenance therapy, but unlike the other drugs mentioned here it is an opiate blocker and is not an opiate. There is an option to take this drug as a monthly injection, and that is called Vivitrol. As an opioid blocker, it prevents a person from experience high feelings from opioids, and therefore lowers the risk associated with relapse. This daily injection costs anywhere from $1000 to $1200 per month.
