Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Spokane, WA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol treatment in Spokane, this program can cover certain treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want additional coverage aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
