Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs - Vantage, WA.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol recovery services in Vantage, Medicare can pay for certain rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
