American Indians and Alaska Natives are historically more likely than individuals of other racial and ethnic groups to need rehabilitation for substance abuse and addiction. So as one can see, there is an absolute need for a variety of service types to provide services for all of the various requirements of this client demographic, including substance abuse treatment services in native languages.
