DWI Clients - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs - Red Level, AL.

DWI clients in treatment need to complete specific requirements to fulfill the terms of their sentencing. Rehab facilities which help fulfill these demands and terms, which are usually more lenient than traditional sentencing such as heavy fines and incarceration, are available in Red Level to provide alcohol education, group counseling, and further assessment for severe drug or alcohol issues.

Drug and Alcohol Education is a primary treatment tool used at rehab programs catering to DWI offenders. There are a few different levels of alcohol education classes and this can vary by state. Level I education generally include 12 hours of group education about the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what someone with a first offense or someone under the age of 21 will often be required to do. Level II DWI classes would include both substance abuse education and therapy at a program which is approved by the courts. The duration the client will need to participate in therapy depends upon a few considerations, which can include how many DWI's the individual has had, and the seriousness of the offense. In most cases, clients will be required to take the Level II DWI classes and therapy unless their blood-alcohol content level was very low when they were stopped and there weren't any other serious charges when the offender was arrested.
