Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs - Ulm, AR.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in Ulm, this program can cover certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for individuals who want additional health insurance apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
