The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. Once an opioid rehabilitation facility is approved to operate, they need to get re-certified every year or every three years depending on the type of accreditation that was granted.
