Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehab in Augusta, this program may pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of medical care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
