The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to advance the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
