Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a kind of outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment program that is just below intensive out-patient and more intensive than normal outpatient rehab. For at least 4-6 hours on the days that people participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, they will get one-on-one addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, get any needed medical care and address any of the mental health issues that are triggering their alcohol and drug addiction.
