Clients Referred from the Court - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Facilities - Council, ID.

Clients referred from the court for drug rehabilitation are typically referred because they are being granted a chance to try their hand at treatment rather than face jail time, other charges, fines, etc. Although this is most common with first time offenders, it can be offered at any time including while someone is being held in jail. There are different types of rehab programs that offenders can be referred to, and this all depends on which programs are attainable in Council and the type of issues they'll need treatment for.

There are programs that work directly with the courts to administer to this specific group of clientele, and are typically state funded or are available at no cost or very little cost to the client. Additionally, there are also private drug and alcohol recovery facilities that may be approved by the court if there is a specific type of rehabilitation that the client requires or desires that a state-funded program can't provide. The client's attorney can request such options to the judge for approval. There are even substance abuse rehab centers that operate out of the jails themselves, where clients are typically in a better position for early release or other leniencies when participating in addiction rehabilitation services while serving their time for a drug offense or a DUI/DWI.
