Military Insurance - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Nampa, ID.

The military currently uses a military insurance known as Tricare to help veterans, active military members and their families receive health benefits. There is Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, and Tricare Extra. Tricare Standard provides insurance benefits for retired military who are 60 or older and their eligible family members. With Tricare Standard they go to any civilian health care provider that is payable under Tricare, but also pay yearly deductible and coinsurance, in addition to any out-of-pocket expenses. Tricare Extra is available to Tricare Standard beneficiaries which grants access to non-military health care providers within their provider network, with a discounted coinsurance amount. Tricare Prime is offered to all active-duty members, retirees, and all qualified family members, and with this they can choose a primary doctor and obtain referrals to organizations that offer specialty care.

By way of TRICARE, military members can receive substance abuse treatment services in Nampa. This includes detoxification, individual and group therapy including family therapy, and other various rehabilitation services. They will need pre-authorization for services and there are likely to be some restrictions. Military insurance pays for both outpatient and inpatient, but inpatient services for detox are limited to no more than 7 days. Partial hospitalization or impatient treatment following detoxification will only be authorized if it is a Tricare approved facility, and there are time restrictions as to how long military insurance carriers will be allowed to remain in treatment. A 3-week inpatient stay per benefit period is usually allowed. In additional to this, there are 60 group therapy sessions and 15 family therapy sessions covered per benefit period, which are done on an outpatient basis. Family therapy is covered one after the active military member has finished other treatment services such as outpatient or inpatient treatment.
