Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and need substance abuse rehabilitation in Camargo, this program can pay for various rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of treatment.
Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.
Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient drug and alcohol rehab. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications administered by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.
Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want additional health insurance in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.
Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
