The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the nation. One of its responsibilities is the oversight of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
