The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
