Drug and alcohol abuse programs for Vets are central for the mental well-being and overall stability of Vets of all branches of the armed forces. Because alcohol and drug abuse and other mental health disorders are found at above average rates among Veterans, it is crucial that they get the essential help they need because of such high rates of suicide also associated with these disorders among our Vets.
