Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facilities - Norway, KS.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Norway, Medicare can cover various treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want supplemental coverage apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
