Regular out-patient rehab is usually a less expensive choice to more comprehensive outpatient options or inpatient recovery, and is the lowest intensity of formal alcohol or drug rehab available in Paxico. Regular outpatient rehab services involve some kind of individual and group counseling services occurring once maybe twice per week. Programs that offer a more diverse array of services may include counseling (behavioral therapy) to help with relapse prevention and dual diagnosis services to help respond to co-occurring addiction and mental health issues. The length of time someone remains involved in rehab can change from client to client, and a client's progress can be assessed every now and then and an extension of rehab can be suggested based on these findings.
