The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
