Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - Lagrange, KY.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need substance abuse recovery services in Lagrange, Medicare will cover certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees associated with outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for clients who want additional coverage apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
