Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient addiction treatment program which is just below intensive outpatient and more intensive than regular out-patient rehab. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help individuals who need intensive rehabilitation for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but do not require twenty-four hour supervision and care. When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment facility, they commonly take part in services in the range of 3-5 days per week.
