Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Delta, LA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Delta, Medicare will pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
