The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
