Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
