The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
