Alcohol and drug abuse programs for Veterans are essential for the mental health and overall stability of Vets of all branches of the armed forces. Because alcohol and drug abuse and other mental health disorders are experienced at higher than average rates among Vets, it is crucial that Veterans get the essential assistance they need due to such high suicide rates also associated with these disorders among our Vets.
