Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which is just below intensive out-patient and more intensive than normal out-patient rehabilitation. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also tailored to clients who require intensive rehabilitation for a co-occurring mental health disorder, but don't require 24 hour supervision and treatment. When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment center, they typically participate in services in the range of three to five days per week.
