Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers - Philadelphia, MS.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Philadelphia, Medicare may pay for various treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the expenses associated with outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs administered by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want supplemental health insurance apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
