Services within an inpatient or residential drug rehab facility are usually more diversified and will encompass recovery services for addiction but also other co-occurring mental health disorders. Aftercare and relapse prevention services are vital even after long-term rehabilitation, and many programs recommend continued engagement in the program for several months until the person has shifted into a drug free way of life.
