Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs - Siloam, NC.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Siloam, this program will cover certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
